Here are some long awaited pictures. Ashley started going into labor around 1:30 am on Thursday. She had a contraction and woke me up and said, "I think I just had a contraction." I don't remember but appearantly I said, "You'll be ok." and went back to sleep. Oops! Anyway, about an hour later she woke me up and we started timing the contractions. They weren't real regular time wise but they were very painful for Ashley so about 4 am we decided to go in. After a shower and getting ready we headed in. We checked in a little before 5 am and Ashley was already dilated to a 5. Anyway, a short time later she had her epidural and everything was great! We called her mom and she booked the soonest flight she could. After a couple hours Ashley wasn't having regular contractions and wasn't progressing so they induced her and she was a 10 in no time. Debbie got here at the perfect time about an hour before James got here. After pushing for about 20-30 min James was here!!! She was laughing histerically for a good portion of the pushing. She thought it was so funny she had no control over her legs.
James Taylor Christensen was 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. After staying in the hospital for 2 days we all came home and everybody is doing great. We love watching James sleep in the day and love trying to get him back to sleep at night! He is a very content and loving little baby. We love being parents although I don't think it has set in with either of us quite yet. We are grateful that he has wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will love him.
Anyhow, I am excited to graduate in a week and be able to have time to be with Ashley and James. We love you all!!!

Congrats! Thanks so much for sharing the story of your little miracle. He is truly Precious and we are so excited and happy for you guys! We can hardly wait to meet the little guy!
